Some people just do more...

Please be advised that your service mechanic Jack (don't have his last name) has possibly saved me from a major catastrophe at my home. Yesterday May 12th he came by to service the Trane Air Conditioner I bought from your company last June. While attending to the condenser outside he noticed a natural gas odor in the area and that there was rust at the base of the gas piping as it came out of the ground from the gas meter a few feet away.

In response I called Peoples Gas and they determined that there was in fact a leak and shut off the gas immediately. I then called a repairman and they came out this morning and fixed the leak by installing new piping. The gas is now turned back on with no odor present. I checked Jack's preventative maintenance checklist, there's nothing on there that tells him to check a house for natural gas leaks from the meter to the house. Some people just do more.

This was a big deal to me and illustrates that you hire the right people and train them well. From the start my experience with your company has been positive. With your salesman Matt, to the two technicians that installed the A/C and heater, to Jack. And the A/C and heater works perfectly so far with a 20% reduction in my electric bill. Thank you and thanks to Jack.

I recently had one of your techninians come to my house to troubleshoot an air conditioner that was installed by a different company. I have only had this system for 2 months, and it was not cooling properly. I had the technicians from the installing company out 5 times and they could not find the problem. Your technician, Brandon was able to find the problem in a short amount of time, and was very helpful and informative. He was knowledgable about our system, and was able to do what the other company could not do.

The service rep, Dan, was helpful and courteous. He went out of his way to get a technician out to my house quickly and he treated me like a customer should be treated. Also, the person who directed my call was very professional and even remembered me when I called back the next day. I do not remember her name, but she was very pleasant and helpful as well.

I recently did business with your company for both a service call and an installation. I wanted to let you know that your employees in both cases did an excellent job representing your company. I had problems with both my A/C units and Brian was able to get one of them working properly. Unfortunately for me, the other unit was not easily repaired and a replacement was recommended. The installers that came to my house for that job were polite, kept the work site clean and did a great job of completing the work in a timely manner. They even pointed out some problems with the previous install. I am very happy with the work Air Masters did for me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to friends.

Less than 15 min later, a very nice gentleman named David called...

This evening my A/C went out - didn't see anything wrong with the compressor or air handler, but the thermostat appeared to have no power. I checked all the breakers and everything was fine...I called the after hours number and left a message. Less than 15 min later, a very nice gentleman named David called and started asking me a few questions. And although they did have a service tech ready to be dispatched, he offered to walk me through a few steps to possibly avoid a service call. It turns out the condensation drain outside was clogged, which causes a switch connected to the air handler to shut off the thermostat.

I first disabled the switch - A/C came back on. The drain outside has since been cleared - we're back up and running. I repeatedly offered a credit card number to pay for his service or at least cover his time on the phone - David insisted there was no charge and simply wished me a nice evening.

I believe a business that responds that quickly and then won't even accept charges when offered appears to be honest, responsive, and a good company to establish a new relationship with. I hope that any of you that has future A/C and heat needs will call Air Masters of Tampa Bay, and please tell them I referred you.





I am very happy with the work Air Masters did for me...

WOW!!! Your salesman Matt Larson who is awesome and took his time to explain all the units available to me. See, I am renting this house due to my home developed a sink hole. It's been a very hard and long year for me. I am disabled now due to being a victim of a hate crime. He (Matt) knew we were pressed for money at this time and helped us get cool again after no AC for over 2 weeks. Businesses and people like him need to be put on a pedestal. Then a follow up was done by a Mr. Carlos Ayala, he checked everything out and I told him I was tired of spraying the unit off because it sits on the ground and dirt was collecting. He said no problem and we scheduled for Friday morning...but Matt and two other guys showed up around 3 PM today and slid a pad under the unit. Talk about caring and concern.

I will definitely be telling my friends here in South Seminole Heights how well and caring your staff has treated me. It has helped in knowing there are people out there who really do care and to have Air Masters as an excellent business in our area is a god send. So thank you all, even your ladies in the office have been excellent. I look forward to using you when I need a new unit.

We just wanted to take a brief moment to comment on the service we received today. Unfortunately, poor or average service has become commonplace these days. It was such a nice surprise when Eddie visited our home today! He was happy, smiled, and most of all - had excellent manners. I can't tell you how very much we appreciate this!





I converted to the Everclean Green system in February 2007 and I am very pleased...

I have always valued quality in my home. The comfort, health and happiness of my family are very important to me. When I had my home built ten years ago, the first thing I did was to get a top of the line water softener/filtration system to offer my family safe and tasty water. Good decision. What I didn't know was I had options on my air quality also; and, air is even more a health and comfort factor to me than water.

Several years ago I learned about the company Air Masters. They advised me that I could solve my air quality concerns by installing a “state of the art” 5” pleated filter system. They were right, it truly was the best available at the time. Our home benefited. However, filters have their draw backs requiring regular replacement and causing restricted air flow. Filters also require re-circulated air to pass right beside contaminants captured by the filter earlier. After learning of the Everclean Green system, I realized this innovative system would give me even better air quality and air flow and eliminate the shortfalls of any filter system.

I converted to the Everclean Green system in February 2007 and I am very pleased. My system is not restricted by filters so I get better air flow, the air smells clean and fresh, I have no need to remember to change filters. And, I believe my system is working more efficiently which means lower electric bills. I am glad I upgraded to Everclean Green and I am glad I had Air masters do the work.

Several on-line systems recommended six local dealer/installations. Air Masters was one of these. You have set a high standard!

I would like to extend my thanks and compliments for the work provided by Antonio Gaston and his assistant Eddie during the installation of the new A.C. unit at my home, June 22, 2012. They both arrived at my home as scheduled at exactly at 8:00 a.m. and politely and professionally introduced themselves. They explained what they were going to do, where they needed to go in my home to get it done, and asked if I had any questions. They then began work immediately setting up their truck and equipment, and checking out what unit and equipment I had that they were going to remove.

They presented an image of experience and confidence and quickly established a plan of action and moved efficiently to set up. Throughout this process they laid down tarps and other sheets to protect my flooring and home, and were always respectful when they had to enter a new area or needed to use the bathroom.

Antonio set up the work to be done and kept both he and Eddie busy throughout their stay. I never saw them standing around or wasting time, and they seemed to move well together and independently. It was very hot and especially humid that day yet they moved quickly and carefully to dismantle the unit in the attic, and to quickly set up their work area up there before it became too hot. Very Smart!!

They graciously and respectfully accepted offers of cold water or Gatorade, yet did not take advantage of the situation. They were always very respectful of my home and property. They answered my questions willingly and respectfully and with easy explanations so that I understood what or why they were doing things. They didn't like to make small talk yet were patient and easy to talk with if I had a question or interrupted.

They were conscious of keeping the area clean, both around the attic entrance, in my garage, in my yard around the condenser, and in the driveway around their truck. They were also mindful of safety and hazards as they worked with heavy equipment, sharps, electrical panels, chemicals, and tight work spaces in the attic. Once they completed their work Antonio reviewed with me some of the operating tips and instructions, explained the paperwork, and was very thorough in ensuring I was comfortable with the new unit. They completely cleaned the area before they left, and left behind virtually no trash, damage, or any other signs of their work other than a nice new A.C. unit!

This experience was a pleasant continuation of the experience I had with Matthew Larson, the sales consultant that initially met with me and proposed the job. Matt also called the day before the install to ensure we were ready, and also visited the site Friday morning to ensure everything was going well and as promised. All of these actions and little attentions to detail added up to a very positive experience with Air Masters. I will use this experience as the benchmark to which to compare future contractors that work on my home. You have set a high standard!!

I have already been asked by 3 neighbors about the work that was done by Antonio and Air Masters and have given both very positive compliments along with Matt Larson's contact information.

During the week of February 14th, Good Shepherd Hospice had an air conditioning unit installed in our second floor storage and training room area.
